1. Who we are
This Privacy Policy describes how the DGKS Conference mobile and desktop application (“the App”) processes information. The App is a conference companion for DGKS / ASES events. Conference content is loaded from our WordPress site at dgks.alpha-digital.rs.
2. Summary
- The App does not require an account and does not ask you to create a login.
- Most of your personal content (notes, bookmarks, language, and theme) stays on your device.
- The App fetches public conference content over the internet and may use Firebase Cloud Messaging for optional push notifications.
- We do not operate a first-party analytics or advertising SDK in the App.
3. Information stored on your device
Depending on how you use the App, the following may be stored locally:
- Preferences — language (Serbian or English) and light/dark theme.
- Notes and bookmarks — text and session bookmarks you create.
- Cached content — conference agenda, venue, speakers, partners, and related material downloaded for offline use, plus cached images.
- Calendar markers — records of sessions you chose to add to your device calendar.
This local data is not uploaded to our servers as part of normal App use. Clearing the App’s data or uninstalling the App removes it from that device.
4. Information processed online
4.1 Conference content
The App requests public content (agenda, venue, people, partners, exhibitions, surveys, general information, and in-app notifications) from dgks.alpha-digital.rs over HTTPS. Server logs on that host may record standard technical data such as IP address, time of request, and user agent, according to that site’s own practices.
4.2 Push notifications
If you allow notifications, the App uses Firebase Cloud Messaging (Google)
to deliver messages. Your device may receive a device token managed by Google/Firebase.
The App subscribes to language-specific topics (for example
notifications_sr or notifications_en) so notices match your
language preference. You can revoke notification permission in your device settings at any time.
Google’s processing of Firebase data is described in Firebase Privacy and Security and Google’s Privacy Policy.
4.3 External links and surveys
Surveys and some actions (maps, email links, add to calendar) may open third-party apps or websites. Those services have their own privacy policies. Survey answers are submitted to the survey provider, not stored by the App.
5. Permissions
- Internet — to load conference content and receive push notifications.
- Notifications — optional; only if you grant permission.
- Calendar — optional; only when you choose to add a session to your calendar.
The App does not request access to your camera, microphone, contacts, or precise continuous location for tracking.
6. Children’s privacy
The App is intended for conference attendees and related professionals. It is not directed at children under 13 (or the equivalent minimum age in your jurisdiction), and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
7. Data retention
Local preferences, notes, bookmarks, and caches remain on your device until you delete them, clear App data, or uninstall. Push delivery tokens and topic subscriptions last while the App remains installed and notifications are enabled, subject to Google/Firebase retention practices.
8. Your choices
- Deny or revoke notification permission in system settings.
- Change language or theme in the App settings.
- Delete notes and bookmarks inside the App, or clear App storage / uninstall.
- Decline adding events to your calendar.
9. International transfers
Content hosting and Firebase infrastructure may process data on servers outside your country. Where those providers transfer data internationally, their terms and safeguards apply.
10. Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The “Last updated” date at the top will change when we do. Continued use of the App after an update means you accept the revised policy.

This policy describes the App’s current behaviour based on its design: no user accounts, local notes/bookmarks, CMS content fetch, and optional Firebase push notifications.

Ova Politika privatnosti opisuje kako mobilna i desktop aplikacija DGKS Konferencija „Aplikacija“ obrađuje podatke. Aplikacija je prateći alat za DGKS / ASES događaje. Sadržaj konferencije se učitava sa WordPress sajta dgks.alpha-digital.rs.
2. Ukratko
- Aplikacija ne zahteva nalog i ne traži registraciju.
- Većina vašeg sadržaja (beleške, obeleživači, jezik i tema) ostaje na uređaju.
- Aplikacija preuzima javni sadržaj konferencije preko interneta i može koristiti Firebase Cloud Messaging za opcione push notifikacije.
- U Aplikaciji nema sopstvenog analitičkog ili reklamnog SDK-a.
3. Podaci sačuvani na uređaju
U zavisnosti od korišćenja, lokalno mogu biti sačuvani:
- Podešavanja — jezik (srpski ili engleski) i svetla/tamna tema.
- Beleške i obeleživači — tekst i sesije koje ste sačuvali.
- Keširani sadržaj — agenda, lokacija, govornici, partneri i sličan materijal za offline korišćenje, uključujući keširane slike.
- Kalendar — evidencija sesija koje ste dodali u kalendar uređaja.
Ovi lokalni podaci se ne šalju na naše servere pri uobičajenom korišćenju. Brisanje podataka Aplikacije ili deinstalacija uklanja ih sa tog uređaja.
4. Podaci koji se obrađuju online
4.1 Sadržaj konferencije
Aplikacija preuzima javni sadržaj (agenda, lokacija, osobe, partneri, izložbe, ankete, opšte informacije i obaveštenja) sa dgks.alpha-digital.rs preko HTTPS-a. Server dnevnici na tom hostu mogu beležiti standardne tehničke podatke (IP adresa, vreme zahteva, user agent), u skladu sa praksom tog sajta.
4.2 Push notifikacije
Ako dozvolite notifikacije, Aplikacija koristi Firebase Cloud Messaging (Google)
za dostavu poruka. Uređaj može dobiti token kojim upravlja Google/Firebase. Aplikacija se
pretplaćuje na teme po jeziku (npr. notifications_sr ili
notifications_en). Dozvolu za notifikacije možete povući u podešavanjima uređaja.

4.3 Spoljni linkovi i ankete
Ankete i neke radnje (mape, email, dodavanje u kalendar) mogu otvoriti aplikacije ili sajtove trećih strana sa sopstvenim politikama privatnosti. Odgovori na ankete idu provajderu ankete, ne Aplikaciji.
5. Dozvole
- Internet — za učitavanje sadržaja i push notifikacije.
- Notifikacije — opciono, samo uz vašu dozvolu.
- Kalendar — opciono, samo kada dodajete sesiju u kalendar.
Aplikacija ne traži pristup kameri, mikrofonu, kontaktima niti kontinuiranoj preciznoj lokaciji radi praćenja.
6. Privatnost dece
Aplikacija je namenjena učesnicima konferencije i povezanim profesionalcima. Nije usmerena na decu mlađu od 13 godina (ili odgovarajućeg minimalnog uzrasta u vašoj nadležnosti) i svesno ne prikupljamo lične podatke dece.
7. Čuvanje podataka
Lokalna podešavanja, beleške, obeleživači i keš ostaju na uređaju dok ih ne obrišete, ne očistite podatke Aplikacije ili je ne deinstalirate. Tokeni za push i pretplate na teme traju dok je Aplikacija instalirana i dok su notifikacije uključene, u skladu sa praksom Google/Firebase.
8. Vaši izbori
- Odbijte ili povucite dozvolu za notifikacije u sistemskim podešavanjima.
- Promenite jezik ili temu u podešavanjima Aplikacije.
- Obrišite beleške i obeleživače u Aplikaciji, ili očistite skladište / deinstalirajte.
- Nemojte dodavati događaje u kalendar.
9. Međunarodni transferi
Hosting sadržaja i Firebase infrastruktura mogu obrađivati podatke na serverima van vaše zemlje. Za međunarodne transfere važe uslovi i mere tih provajdera.
10. Izmene politike
Ovu Politiku privatnosti možemo povremeno ažurirati. Datum „Poslednje ažuriranje“ na vrhu će se promeniti. Nastavak korišćenja Aplikacije nakon izmene znači da prihvatate ažuriranu politiku.
